I have social anxiety, and it makes me a total chatterbox. I feel like I’m in a tennis match and I’m always trying to figure out where the ball is going so I can hit it back.

I love this idea of focusing entirely on the other person and simply engaging them as much as possible. I think that just focusing all my attention on being a good listener will alleviate some of the stress I feel in social situations.
